James J. Bonham

James Bonham serves as President and CEO of The ESOP Association, the leading industry association advocating for the advancement of ESOPs and employee ownership in the United States. Bonham also serves as President of the Employee Ownership Foundation, whose mission is to educate policymakers, key opinion leaders, and the general public about the transformational benefits of shared ownership and to and grow employee ownership throughout the U.S. and the world. Bonham is a recognized expert in public policy, government advocacy, and executive leadership. He brings more than 30 years of experience as a high level government official, advisor, and business leader with expertise in the fields of labor, tax, and financial services. Bonham is one of the key organizers of the annual Oxford Symposium on Employee Ownership held each August at Oxford University. He is a frequent keynote speaker and has presented on employee ownership and other topics to audiences throughout the world.
